Italian seasoning

Garlic: 8 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 basil plant
  • 1 flat-leaf parsley plant
  • 1/2 a thyme plant
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 pinches of pepper

Preparation

 

  1. Cover the (mesh) tray with the basil leaves, parsley leaves, and thyme sprigs.

  2. Mince the garlic with a chopper or blender and distribute over the plastic drip tray.

  3. Dry the plants and the garlic. Once the herbs are dry (+/- 2 hours), remove from the oven, and allow the garlic to continue drying.

  4. Pick the thyme from the sprigs and mix all the herbs together. Add the garlic and pepper.

Tip: seal and store the seasoning in a dark, dry location.
